Governing Council of the Cat Fancy - GCCF
The GCCF is the oldest registration body for pedigree cats in the world, having been founded in 1910. Its website includes a wealth of advice and guidance for owners and breeders of pedigree cats, plus details of GCCF shows and judges reports.
Russian Blue Breeders Association (RBBA)
The RBBA is open to all lovers of Russian Blues. Despite the name, you don't have to be a breeder to join. It holds a show in Abingdon on the first Saturday in October. I am a member of the RBBA committee, and am also the club's Regional Advisor for the West and East Midlands of England.
Russian & Abyssinian Cat Club of Scotland (RACCS)
RACCS is the newest breed club for Russian Blues. The club website has a comprehensive list of show results, which is updated weekly, a map of breeders and lists of available kittens both in the UK and overseas. It also includes photographs of top winning Russians - Imperial GrCh Sithee Lillibullero features on the front page.
Short Haired Cat Society (SHCS)
The SHCS is the senior breed club for British and Foreign Shorthairs. It was first constituted in 1901, catering for all the then-known Shorthair breeds, including Russians.
